Söke is the busy market town and transport hub about 22 km east of Kuşadası. Because Kuşadası sits off the main intercity motorway, a great many long-distance journeys — from Aydın, Didim, Bodrum and beyond — connect through Söke, making the short Söke–Kuşadası leg one of the most-travelled in the region.
Dolmuş minibuses shuttle between Söke otogar and Kuşadası otogar very frequently, often every few minutes through the day, for just a few euros paid on board. It is the quickest and cheapest way to cover the leg, and the service most travellers use when arriving in Söke by intercity coach.
Söke otogar is served by national operators such as Pamukkale Turizm, Kamil Koç and Metro Turizm. Some sell through-tickets to Kuşadası with a free shuttle (servis) for the final leg, so check whether your ticket already includes the connection before paying separately.
If you arrive in Söke late, with heavy luggage or as a family, a pre-booked private transfer meets you and takes you straight to your Kuşadası hotel in 25–30 minutes — avoiding a change at the otogar after a long coach journey.
