Getting from Izmir city centre to Kuşadası by transfer, bus or car.

Kuşadası is around 95 km south of Izmir, the Aegean’s biggest city and main transport gateway. The road is fast and modern — the O-31 motorway plus the coast road through Selçuk — so the journey is short and easy whether you take a bus, a transfer or your own car.

Major operators including Pamukkale Turizm, Kamil Koç, Metro Turizm and FlixBus run buses from Izmir to Kuşadası roughly every 30–45 minutes (more often in summer), about 25 departures a day, with the earliest around 00:30 and the last near 23:45. The ride takes about 1 hour 15 to 1 hour 30 minutes and costs roughly 120–180 TL (from around €6). Most depart from Izmir’s main bus station (Otogar), with some pick-ups at Üçkuyular/Fahrettin Altay; from Kuşadası otogar it is a short taxi or dolmuş into the centre.
A private transfer from your Izmir hotel, the cruise port or city centre takes about 90 minutes straight to your Kuşadası hotel door, with no change at the otogar. The most comfortable choice if you have luggage, a family or an early start.
By car it is about 90 minutes via the O-31 motorway and the coast road through Selçuk. The roads are good and well signposted; allow extra time on summer weekends, and check hotel parking as central Kuşadası gets busy in July and August.
