Çeşme, the breezy resort town at the western tip of the Izmir peninsula, lies about 150 km north-west of Kuşadası. The fast way is the motorway: the Çeşme–Izmir O-32, around the Izmir ring, then south to Kuşadası — roughly 2 to 2.5 hours of mostly smooth driving.
Because the two resorts are on opposite sides of Izmir, a private transfer is the only genuinely direct option, taking about 2 to 2.5 hours door to door. It avoids the need to change buses in central Izmir, which is the slowest part of the public-transport route — ideal if you are moving between holiday bases with luggage.
There is no direct Çeşme–Kuşadası coach. By public transport you take a Çeşme–Izmir bus to Izmir otogar (or Üçkuyular), then change to a Kuşadası service (usually itself routing via Söke). With the connection and city transfer, total time is typically 4 hours or more, so budget travellers should start early.
Self-driving is straightforward on the O-32 and Izmir ring motorways. Watch for traffic around Izmir at peak times and on summer weekends, and check central Kuşadası hotel parking, which is limited in July and August.
